HOW TO ORDER
Instead of ordering each kit separately, you can order all THREE kits together, and all three kits will be shipped together. Follow the links to go to the separate kit listings to see the options, then write your colour choices in the Order Notes section.
June's design is called Crocus Shorties and are inspired by pretty spring flowers. Barb's mom planted spring flower bulbs everywhere in their yard, and the first flowers to open each year were the crocuses. The sight of these flowers always says spring is really here and brings joy to everyone who sees them. The lace pattern in the socks reminded Barb of those welcome harbingers of the summer to come so she chose it as a celebration of the start of summer! These shorties only require one skein of fingering weight yarn, preferably in a semi-solid colour so that the lace will be able to shine. The delicate lace pattern is very approachable, and they are knit top down with a picot cast-on and heel flap.
Choose from: Dusty Rose (as shown in photo); Clematis, Great Scott, Lapis Lazuli, Purple Sequins, Soda Pop, or Where the Coho Go.
July's design is called The Traveler Sock and features traveling stitches, which create a lovely textured design. When Barb was asked to create a sock design with texture, she played with stitches that would allow texture but wouldn't irritate the foot inside a shoe and found this stitch worked perfectly. The top down design was created to have enough interest for an experienced sock knitter to enjoy, but isn't beyond the skills of a less experienced knitter who wants to try the traveling stitch! Barb always loved to travel so these are the sort of sock she most enjoyed wearing as she visited far off lands and met amazing people!
Choose from: Champagne (as shown in photo); Beach Paradise, Beach Pebbles, Kitten Nose Pink, Pink Light Sabre, River Rock, or Spring Leaf.
August's design is called Chain of Hearts and was inspired by Barb's love of working with reverse images in stranded designs. She chose the heart motif because, as she said, what better way to show your love for your feet than with a chain of hearts? Barb loved working with dramatic graphic designs like this and the results are stunning! These socks are also knit top down. (*The kit for these socks will consist of two 50 gram skeins of Socknado yarn in contrasting colours.)
Choose from:Where the Giant Squid Live and City Girl Chic 1 (as shown in photo), Cranberry and Golden Retriever, Blue Spruce and Angora, Dark Roast and Pink Tulip.

Crocus Shorties - Saturday June 8th, 10-11 am MST; the pattern will be delivered to you June 7th, 2024.
Travelers Socks - Saturday July 6th 10-11 am MST; the pattern will be delivered to you July 5th, 2024.
Chain of Hearts Socks - Saturday August 10th, 10-11 am MST; the pattern will be delivered to you August 9th, 2024.
