If fingering weight sweaters intimidate you, this class is the perfect way to dive right in! We'll go over basic sweater construction and instruction while we dive into the fantastic Anna Tee pattern by Sara Stark. With simple raglan increases and top-down construction this pattern is a great first sweater project for the adventurous knitter, and with Little Nettle it's a great Spring project!

In the first session we'll go over casting on and raglan increases, while the second class will go over sleeves and picking up stitches.

Class fee does not include the pattern as it needs to be purchased from Ravelry.

Date: Saturday April 11 and April 25, 2026 (2 sessions)
Time: 2:00pm to 4:00 pm (2 hour class)

Class size:Minimum of 2 and maximum of 8 students. Pre-registration is required.

*Basic knitting skills required, must be able to knit in the round.*

Supplies to bring:

Circular needles:US 5 - 3.75 mm, US 2½ - 3.0 mm, US 0 - 2.0 mm in 16 inch and 32 inch
Ancient Arts Little Nettle Soft in amount required by pattern. If you need to purchase your yarn, please come the week before the class begins.

We offer a one-year return and exchange policy from the date of shipment. We know knitting and crochet projects often unfold over time, and a shorter return window doesn’t always make sense.

Returns requested within the timeframe permitted by the original payment method (typically up to 90 days, and in some cases up to 120 days) are eligible for a refund to the original method of payment. After that period, and up to one year from the shipment date, returns are eligible for exchange or store credit/gift card only.

To be eligible for a return or exchange, yarn must be in original condition with labels intact, and be scent- and smoke-free. Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable.
