Using The Granny Square Card Deck by Claire Montgomerie we'll go over some fun techniques on how to step up your granny square game. Starting with some of the simpler patterns and moving on to some of her more complicated designs, you'll be a granny square pro by the end of this class. We'll also go over different projects you can use these squares in, like blankets, bags, and even cardigans.

Basic crochet knowledge is required. You must be comfortable doing the following stitches: Chain stitch (ch) , Single Crochet (sc), Double Crochet (dc), half double crochet (hdc), Slip Stitch (sl st), and Magic Ring (MR).

Morning Class: Saturday, March 29.
Time: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (2 hour class)
In Person Class at Calgary Studio - 607 Manitou Rd SE, Calgary, AB

Class Fee:$45.00

Class size:Minimum of 2 and maximum of 8 students. Pre-registration is required.

Supplies to bring:

Crochet hooks (depending on your crochet gauge between 3.0mm to 4.0mm)
Ancient Arts Yarns Merino DK/Light Worsted or Ancients Arts Yarns Socknado in 4 colours (MC, CC1, CC2, CC3). If you need to purchase yarn, please come the week before the class begins to get your MC and pick from available CC.

-- Cancellations for a full refund must be received at least a week prior to commencement of the class. We are also happy to help reschedule if available.

-- Full refunds will be given in the event that a class is cancelled by Ancient Arts or the instructor.

-- We are not able to offer make up classes, so please check your schedule carefully before registering to ensure you are able to attend all sessions.

We offer a 60-day return and exchange policy from the date of shipment. To be eligible for a return or exchange yarn must be in original condition with label intact and be scent and smoke-free.
