Instructor: Alicia Wessel
Learn all the ins and outs of knitting stranded colourwork and design your own hat in the process.
You’ll learn how to knit stranded colourwork and learn all about the most suitable yarns for colourwork, different colourwork styles, and how to pick the best colour combinations for a project that pops.
During the class, we will also cover how to read a chart for colourwork and how to hold your yarns for perfect tension and yarn dominance. There will be room for you to ask any and all question you have about knitting stranded colourwork.
We will use the Anthology hat pattern (a free pattern courtesy of Tin Can Knits) to create beautiful, unique colourwork hats. This is a great hat pattern that gives you the chance to pick your desired size, yarn weight, and charts. This way, you can design your own unique hat!
Please come to the first class with the ribbing completed!
