On the Fifth Day of Christmas Ancient Arts had for me:
Krampus
The Krampus is a horned anthropomorphic figure who, in European folkloric tradition, is said to accompany Saint Nicholas on visits to children during the night of December 5th (called Krampusnacht; or "Krampus Night"), immediately before the Feast of St. Nicholas the next day. Saint Nicholas rewards well-behaved children with small gifts, while Krampus punishes badly behaved ones with birch rods.
None of us are very fond of birch rods (unless they are knitting needles or crochet hooks) so this version of Krampus is a lot friendlier and will be more than happy to behave nicely!
