The Agatha Shawl by Mone Dräger
Join us for the Interweave March Knit Along
Yarn Kits available now!
The Agatha Shawl incorporates two stitch patterns: a zigzag motif across the side edge and small motif “spots” throughout the main striped garter-stitch pattern. This asymmetrical triangle shawl isa great project for newer knitters (mosaic knitting is a great intro to colorwork) and is a relaxing knit for those with more experience.
Each kit includes two skeins of Socknado - one skein in each colour!
The pattern is NOT included with the yarn! However, Interweave is offering the Agatha Shawl Pattern for free during the knit-along. Simply go to their website and register for the knit along before March 31, 2021, and Interweave will email you a copy of the PDF pattern.

The asymmetric triangle shawl is a tribute to the magnificent Burr Oak tree. This shawl behaves as if knit on the bias, and pulls together a variety of knit elements including garter, mosaic and lace, all representing parts of the oak tree harmoniously, much as Caroline's tree does for her yard.

The Slack Tide Wrap is inspired by the movement of water on beautiful ocean shores, where grasses grow among the rolling dunes, and streams flow down into the sea. The striking geometric textures in this shawl mimic the patterns of water on sand and are as soothing to knit as it is to spend time by the sea.
