September is a time when temperatures start to cool, summer projects are finished (or in the WIP pile if you're me), and our thoughts turn to the knitting of accessories to keep us cozy when the snow starts to fall! As a result this September once again, we've decided that we are celebrating all things hats and are declaring September to be Hat'tember!

It's always nice to have some incentive to get that project cast on and/or finished, so we've decided it would be fun to have a month long hat event with special kit prices (hat kits will be on sale for 15% off during the month of September) and with a prize draw! Come check out some of our fabulous hat patterns and kits on display in the studio and online, and start your own hat to enter to win an a fabulous gift certificate! We will be giving away TWO $50 gift certificates good in-store and online, with one draw for entries made at the studio (or in email), and one for our wonderful online friends!

The nitty gritty to qualify: Hats must use Ancient Arts yarn but may include other yarn as well. Kit purchases will qualify as an entry (so you can get two entries in one if you share your progress from your kit). Hats do not need to be finished to qualify as an entry - we all have WIP'S and you can enter those too!

To enter you will need to do any or all of the following (enter as often as you'd like with as many hats as you'd like):

1. Bring your hat to the studio and show it off to receive an entry. If you purchase your hat project yarn from us this month you'll get an extra entry into the draw, so be sure to mention 'Hat'tember if you come to visit in-store or purchase online.
2. Can't make it into the studio and don't post on social media? Email us a picture of your hat and you will be entered!
3. You can enter by tagging us on Instagram @ancientartsyarn and using the hashtag #AAYhattember. Again, if you purchase your hat project yarn from us you'll get an extra entry into the draw. You can also post in our Facebook Group Ancient Arts Yarn Community or put your hat pictures in as a comment on the Facebook post on our page.

We'll also be hosting a 'Hat'tember Meet Up September 20st at the studio where you can pick up a kit (good for an entry), show off your project (good for an entry), and get any help you may need to finish things off!

Entry deadline is September 30th, and the prize drawing with be October 1st.Winners will be notified by email/DM*.
