Ah, the new year has arrived. January is a great time to make some yarn-related resolutions such as learning a new skill or attempting your first sweater. One of our fabulous retailers, Stash Lounge, has declared January to be ME-month, and we can’t think of a better way to start off 2016. To make your resolution easy, they’ve designed a gorgeous hat pattern using just 1 skein of our Big Squeeze yarn; best of all, the Stellar Hat pattern is available for free here on their website and also on Ravelry.
For the little person in your life, the Big Squeeze Hat and Scarf is the perfect way to keep them warm on even the chilliest winter day. This free pattern, designed by Christina Wall of the A Knitter’s Life podcast, uses just 1 skein of our Big Squeeze yarn to knit up in a jiffy – click here to download a free PDF via Ravelry.
We’d also like to spotlight two great fan FO projects we’ve spotted recently on Ravelry using Big Squeeze: first, Raveler Shoelaceswitcher knit a vibrant hat in our Cherry Blossom colorway using the Galicia pattern by Trelly Hernández. In her notes, Big Squeeze is described as “eminently squeeze-able.” We can’t think of a better compliment!
Ravelry Stefaniegrrr knit a Snaky Cables Hat using our Sagebrush colorway; this free pattern is available here on Ravelry and can be knit using just 1 skein of Big Squeeze (even including the optional pom pom)!
We look forward to seeing more projects shared by our wonderful fans here in our Ravelry group – if you haven’t already, drop by to say hello!
