SEPTEMBER SUMMER SOCK CLUB - Amber Sea Socks

Each kit contains 1 skein each of the selected colour combo as well as the sock pattern. You will receive the pattern when it releases on the 15th of each month.

Our September sock is the Amber Sea sock by Baiba Jautaike! Baiba has knitted the shores of her homeland into these socks — they represent the dancing waves of the Baltic Sea with white crests and sandy beaches, rippled by the water. You can walk there for miles and miles gathering amber, wish-stones and pretty shells.

Knitting starts at the cuff where stripes ripple like the sea. The hidden illusion element emphasizes the wavy dynamic of this original stitch pattern. From the cuff to the very tips of the toes the socks are covered in a sand stitch pattern. Two techniques are combined including helical knitting and sequences set-up to spiral. This speckled stitch pattern seamlessly emerges by itself, with no interruptions or jogs. The solid colour at the bottom of the heel stands out like a rock on the beach.

Needle size:2.5 mm / US 1.5, 80 cm / 32” circular needles or set of DPNs, or size needed to achieve gauge.

Gauge: 28 sts x 44 rnds = 10 cm / 4” in Sand stitch, blocked.

Therefore it is important to order sufficient yarn for your project, and if a uniform result is preferred we suggest alternating skeins. We offer a one-year return and exchange policy from the date of shipment. We know knitting and crochet projects often unfold over time, and a shorter return window doesn’t always make sense.

Returns requested within the timeframe permitted by the original payment method (typically up to 90 days, and in some cases up to 120 days) are eligible for a refund to the original method of payment. After that period, and up to one year from the shipment date, returns are eligible for exchange or store credit/gift card only.

To be eligible for a return or exchange, yarn must be in original condition with labels intact, and be scent- and smoke-free. Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable.

Please note that our prices for customers in the USA include tariffs which have been paid on your behalf at time of import, in the event this product is returned or exchanged any tariffs paid are not available for refund or credit towards exchange yarn.
