The Hexad Peaks Cardigan is an open front cardigan with interesting geometric panels on the front and back. The cardigan is worked back and forth beginning at the lower edge of each front. The CC hexagons are joined to the MC body using the Intarsia method. After the fronts are complete, stitches are cast on for the back neck, and the back is worked down to the lower edge. The sleeves are worked flat.
This lovely cardigan is knit in our luscious 100% Merino DK/Lt Worsted 3-ply yarn, which has just the right twist to make sure that it is lusciously soft and bouncy, while also being superbly durable and pill resistant.

Kit One - finished back width at underarm is 23.75 inches and requires 6 skeins of the MC and 3 skeins of (CC).
Kit Two - finished back width at underarm is 26.5 inches and requires 7 skeins of the MC and 3 skeins of (CC).
Kit Three - finished back width at underarm is 29 inches and requires 8 skeins of the MC and 3 skeins of (CC).
Kit Four - finished back width at underarm is 32 inches and requires 9 skeins of the MC and 3 skeins of (CC).
Kit Five - finished back width at underarm is 35.75 inches and requires 10 skeins of the MC and 3 skeins of (CC)
The sample shown is in Classic Denim 5 (MC) and Classic Denim 1 (CC), and measures 23.75" on model with 41" bust.

Dyed-to-Order: Please note that with dyed-to-order yarns you will need to allow up to 2 - 3 weeksfor us to dye and ship your yarn. In addition, while we strive for consistency, due to the hand dye process variations may exist between (and with some colourways within) dye lots. Therefore it is important to order sufficient yarn for your project, and if a uniform result is preferred we suggest alternating skeins.
