The colorwork motifs are adapted from Turkish stocking patterns: the bottom motif shows earrings and butterflies representing the luxuries behind the Seraglio walls; the middle portion symbolizes the lattice, the screen between women and the outside world; and at the top are the hooks, representing how difficult it is to get out once a woman agrees to go in. The lovely yarn is the beautiful, exciting world beyond.

Size: One size fits most.

Ancient Arts Fibre Crafts Socknado - 80% Superwash Merino/20% Nylon 3-Ply Fingering/Sock (340m/372yds = 100g/3.5 oz skein) – 2 skeins

Pattern is available as a downloadable PDF at checkout. A link for future download will also be emailed to you with your receipt.

If your order only includes a pattern and no yarn, the system will immediately send an email with a download link. We offer a 60-day return and exchange policy from the date of shipment. To be eligible for a return or exchange yarn must be in original condition with label intact and be scent and smoke-free. Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
