OAKLEAF-LASCH4-4
Each KIT includes the Pattern and the amount of Yarn required.
The asymmetric triangle shawl is a tribute to the magnificent Burr Oak tree planted by the designer. Surprisingly straightforward in construction, this shawl behaves as if knit on the bias, making it comfortable to wear and enjoyable to knit. This shawl pulls together a variety of knit elements including garter, mosaic and lace all representing parts of the oak tree from acorn to maturity.
Finished Measurements: Shawl measures 206 cm / 81" tip to tip.
Colour Combinations The sample is shown in Indus Valley (MC), Pyrite (CC1), and Cinnamon (CC2)
Each kit includes the pattern and four 100g skeins of Lascaux Fingering weight yarn (2 skeins of MC, 1 skein each of CC1 and CC2)
Lascaux Fine
25% Manx Loaghtan Wool / 75% Punta Arenas Wool
Lascaux Fine 100 – 350 meters / 385 yards per 100 gram / 3.5 oz skein
A download link for the pattern PDF will be sent to you when the Kit is ready to be shipped. It is included as part of the shipping confirmation notice.
While we make every effort to represent colour accurately, they may vary slightly when viewed on different monitors.
Dyed-to-Order: Please note that with dyed-to-order yarns you will need to allow up to 2 - 3 weeksfor us to dye and ship your yarn. In addition, while we strive for consistency, due to the hand dye process variations may exist between (and with some colourways within) dye lots. Therefore it is important to order sufficient yarn for your project, and if a uniform result is preferred we suggest alternating skeins. We hope that you will value and appreciate the beautiful and unique creations of the hand dye process and are always happy to assist you in working with hand dyed yarns!
