This little cat is knitted version of a fabric one I made for my son when he was about 4 years old.  The lovely yarn is just perfect for a tabby cat.

The small cat toy pictured was knit using 1 skein of Ancient Arts 100% Blue Faced Leicester Wool 4 ply fingering/sock in Grey Tabby.

Finished Measurements

Circumference (at widest point):  approx. 54cm/13”

Height: approx. 16cm/6”

Materials:    Ancient Arts Fibre Crafts 100% Blue Faced Leicester Wool 4 ply fingering/sock yarn (400m/437yds = 100g/3.5oz.)—1 skein of MC, plus small amounts of pink, black, and green for face.

Polyfil or desired stuffing

Optional:  one 46cm/18” piece ribbon

Needles:

One set size 2.5mm/US2 needles or size to achieve gauge

Tapestry needle

1 skein Ancient Arts 75% Wool / 25% Nylon 4 ply fingering/sock yarn 400m/437 yds
1 skein Ancient Arts 100% Superwash BFL 4 ply (sock) yarn 400m/437 yds
