MARLENE VEST KIT
Pattern by Nadya Stallings
Each kit includes the Pattern and the amount of Yarn required for your chosen size.
This sleeveless vest features a flattering V-neck and was inspired by 1940s images of Marlene Dietrich! It is a timeless classic, suitable for any season when you want some extra warmth and class!
This vest is worked bottom up in the round until the armholes are reached and then it is split and worked flat. The body of the vest is worked in easy texture stitches that are based on patterns found in vintage sweaters, consisting of a Broken Rib stitch which is worked as a 2x2 “shifted" version. Neckline, armholes, and waistband are all worked in 2x2 plain Rib to match the texture stitch.
