This stole captures the look of ocean waves rolling onto the beach, just as the sun rises. Lace repeats change in length, as do the waves as they march closer into shore.
This easy-to-knit lace creates all the shaping of the stole, and takes advantage of the colour pooling properties of hand painted yarns. The pattern includes complete instructions for how to use any type of hand painted yarn, and is also suitable for knitting with non-pooling yarns or tone-on-tone colours. The pattern may be made into a cowl or a stole (as shown).
