The Celeste shawl is a gloriously large and opulent shawl, perfect for wrapping  yourself  up in softness and comfort. Resplendent with texture and lace, it  adds a dramatic statement to your outfit, whether you are dressed for an evening out, a casual walk on a gorgeous fall day, or an evening in.

The Celeste Shawl is worked from the top down beginning with a garter stitch tab, and features a centre accent panel enhancing the fit and allowing for many styling options.

Finished Measurements: Approximately 218.5 cm / 86" wide by 86.5 cm / 34" deep after blocking

The sample is shown in Black Cherry. The other kit colours are Adire, Irish Linen, Kismet, and Russian Silver Blue.

Yarn Requirements 8 x 100g skeins of Merino DK / Lt Worsted weight

100% SW Extra Fine Merino DK / Light Worsted
200 meters / 220 yards per 100 gram / 3.5 oz skein
Gauge: 21 - 24 sts / 4 inches (10 cm) US 5 - 7 or 4.0 - 4.5 mm

While we make every effort to represent colour accurately, they may vary slightly when viewed on different monitors.


Dyed-to-Order:  Please note that with dyed-to-order yarns you will need to allow up to 2 - 3 weeksfor us to dye and ship your yarn. In addition, while we strive for consistency, due to the hand dye process variations may exist between (and with some colourways within) dye lots. Therefore it is important to order sufficient yarn for your project, and if a uniform result is preferred we suggest alternating skeins. We hope that you will value and appreciate the beautiful and unique creations of the hand dye process and are always happy to assist you in working with hand dyed yarns!
