CREATIVITY & WHAT INSPRIRES US - 2025 COLOUR OF THE MONTH THEME

Every year we like to set a theme for the Colour of the Month, and for 2025, we are excited to choose to explore a theme of creativity and what inspires us! Hand dyed yarn at Ancient Arts always has a story behind it and so for us the chance to share with you 12 stories of something that deeply inspires us is irresistible. Each month we will feature a concept, a place, a book, a person, an event, an artist or artwork etc. that has made a real difference to our lives, inspiring us artistically and personally. We'll tell you the story of each inspiration and how it is reflected in the yarn!

Each gorgeous skein is hand-dyed on our Socknado Fingering / Sock Yarn.

Subscriptions available 3, 6, 9 or 12 month lengths.
Our website will easily allow you to skip a month if you prefer, or add additional skeins if you need more for a project.

With each new subscription the first month will be charged to your credit card today with future months billed to your card on the 7th of each month and shipped mid-month.

Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout.

Gauge: 27 - 32 sts / 4 inches (10 cm) US 1.5 - 3 or 2.5 - 3.25 mm

While we make every effort to represent colour accurately, they may vary slightly when viewed on different monitors.

Dyed-to-Order: Please note that with dyed-to-order yarns you will need to allow up to 2 - 3 weeksfor us to dye and ship your yarn. In addition, while we strive for consistency, due to the hand dye process variations may exist between (and with some colourways within) dye lots. Therefore it is important to order sufficient yarn for your project, and if a uniform result is preferred we suggest alternating skeins. We hope that you will value and appreciate the beautiful and unique creations of the hand dye process and are always happy to assist you in working with hand dyed yarns!

We offer a 60-day return and exchange policy from the date of shipment. To be eligible for a return or exchange yarn must be in original condition with label intact and be scent and smoke-free. Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
