Fall Pattern Round-Up

Autumn is just around the corner, and with it, the eagerly-anticipated fall issues of some of our favorite knitting and crochet magazines! This month, we’d like to share four of the latest designs to use Ancient Arts Yarn.

The Lightweight Pullover by Zahra Jade Knott kicks off our fall pattern extravaganza, appearing in the Early Fall 2015 issue of Vogue Knitting. Knit in our Lace Weight yarn using a variety of interesting stitch patterns, this top is perfect for the changing seasons!

The stunning Double Knit Beanie by Alasdair Post-Quinn appears in the Fall 2015 issue of Vogue Knitting, available at your favorite Ancient Arts Yarn retailer or online at vogueknitting.com. It uses two colours of our Merino DK yarn, shown here in Corfu and Frolic.

Fans of simple knits will want to add Mari Lynn Patrick’s Ribbed Hat to their fall knitting queue. Appearing in the Fall 2015 issue of Knit Simple, this twisted-rib hat is knit in the round and features a clever faux-brim created by purl ridge detailing. It’s knit with just one skein of our Merino DK yarn, shown here in Fire in the Belly.

sandstonesocks

Our final pattern to share today is the Sandstone Socks by Kim Driggs, appearing in the Fall 2015 issue of Interweave Crochet. They were designed especially for hand-dyed yarns, shown here in the Orange Tabby colourway of our 80% Superwash Merino/20% Nylon Fingering weight yarn. They are actually works sideways using the Tunisian crochet technique!
