Learn the basics of the plain weave structure on a rigid heddle loom. The first class will cover how to calculate the amount of yarn required, how to dress the loom and start weaving a worsted weight scarf. The second class will focus on finishing the scarf - creating a fringe, learn how hem stitch the ends, and wet finish the project.
If students need extra time to work on their projects, they are welcome to come to the studio on a Wednesday evening between 6-8 pm.
* Looms will be loaned to students for use in class. (However, if theloomisdamagedduetothestudent'snegligence,theywillhavetobearthecostofrepairsorreplacement.)
Class Dates and Times:
Saturday October 14 - 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (5 hour class, plus a lunch break), and
Saturday October 28th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm (3 hour class)

Class Fee:$225includes 2 skeins of Revival Worsted, and use of a loom
Class size:Minimum of 3 and maximum of 6 students. Pre-registration is required.
