Oasis is a luxury yarn made from premium Merino wool and Baby Camel down. This yarn has been treated with the Basolan process which uses an organic chlorine donating compound to etch the fibre providing shrink-resistance, reducing pilling, and enhancing the lustre and soft handle of the yarn. This yarn is made using a ring-spun 8-ply structure that is perfect for this fine fibre blend, producing a longer wearing yarn that is gorgeously soft and bouncy with great stitch definition and drape. The natural colour of the Camel Down makes for deep rich earthy tones when hand dyed.

Dyed-to-Order: Please note that with dyed-to-order yarns you will need to allow up to 1 - 2 weeksfor us to dye and ship your yarn.
Working with Hand Dyed Yarn: While we strive for consistency, due to the hand dye process variations may exist between (and with some colourways within) dye lots. Therefore it is important to order sufficient yarn for your project, and if a uniform result is preferred we suggest alternating skeins.
